overall great stay
Overall we loved our stay in this condo - it was a short walk through the sand dunes path to the beach, was reasonably priced, and had everything our family needed including a full kitchen, washer/dryer, comfortable living space, 2 comfy bedrooms, and a balcony with a porch swing. However, it could use a few updates. The microwave was leaking water, so we did not use it. The toaster was old and burnt everything on the lowest setting! And there are a few parts of the condo that are aging. But none of these stopped us from truly enjoying our time!

a great little condo!
We had a short visit to St Simons. I wanted a unit that would be walking distance to the beach and this one was great! Top floor with nice views-- a perfect size for me and my husband-- clean-- well equipped. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the morning watching the scores of birds that came to visit the feeder located just below our unit. Such a nice bonus! The pool was cool and nice, and we could catch a glimpse of the ocean over the dunes. Close to restaurants, lighthouse, and everything! AND the price was right. One note: While the unit could technically sleep 6 people, it would be a very tight squeeze, as the living/dining area is not very big.

nice condo with elevator access
Very nice and clean condo located on the beach. Nice pool. Beach access is a bit of a walk. Loved St Simons island! Great restaurants! Bring mosquito spray!

first time st. simons
Rental was good access to beach and biking to ice cream and restaurants. The staff at Emmons were fantastic and gave great recommendations of stuff to do. The only complaint was the dishes seemed dirty and I hand washed a lot of them before use. When I went to run the dishwasher, the pod from the previous user was completely intact and the dishes must not have been cleaned properly. I would recommend this condo. The bed was comfortable. The condo close to pool and we had an ocean view.

shipwatch vacation stay
Everything was great, except the pathway to beach access. Once the boardwalk ended, the path was very difficult and muddy to navigate through especially with beach gear and a child. Other than that, everything was great and we enjoyed our stay.

no serious problems, clean
101 Shipwatch served our needs pretty well. There are some items I should tell you about that need attention. 1) In the front bath room the grab bar in the tub is loose/broken. 2) In the front bedroom the matress is in pretty bad condition. If two people lie on it they tend to roll to the middle.
