More space. More shade. Less everything else. Mid-Island is where the locals live and the smart vacationers stay—right between the beaches and the Village, tucked under the oaks and close to everything that matters. These are the homes with backyards, big kitchens, screened porches, and enough breathing room to make a week feel like a month.
Our Mid-Island vacation rentals are quiet, comfortable, and right by Redfern Village—the island’s unofficial food and fun district. Grab coffee at Dulce Dough, ribs at Southern Soul BBQ, wine flights at Golden Isles Olive Oil, or walk it all off beneath the moss. This isn’t beachfront—and that’s the point. It’s easier, calmer, and easier to come back to.

- Redfern Village – Restaurants, shops, bars, patios, and enough locals to know you’re in the right spot.
- Hildreth Charters – Book a fishing trip. Or don’t. The sign alone gives off good luck energy.
