ocean view condo
We had a great stay at this condo in St Simon’s Island. The location was perfect. Within walking distance to the village, pier and lighthouse. The condo itself was clean and very comfortable with lots of space. Sitting on the balcony and watching the waves as we ate breakfast was a delights. The only issue we had was with the microwave oven. While you could heat a cup of coffee, the microwave would cut off after about 3” of cooking. The electric oven and stove top worked perfectly. Thanks for a lovely time. We hope to do it again next year.

Large and spacious. Handicapped accessible. This property is a bit dated and shows significant signs of wear. Limited natural light. Carpets were freshly shampooed, still damp to the touch. If you don't cook, this may be a perfect fit, but if you do, expect a kitchen outfitted minimally from the Dollar Store.

This condo has a very open floor plan. The kitchen is very nice and well suited for entertaining. The ocean view is great. We slept at night with the sliding door open so we could hear the waves. Best sleep ever!

5 days in heaven
We left the hustle and bustle of Atlanta for the tranquil life in St Simon’s thanks to Emmons Reality. We had the good fortune of meeting Carla Emmons who was a wealth of information on the island. The condo itself was better than advertised. It was spacious and had a view of the ocean from the living room and balcony. Jeanne at Emmons helped us with questions and was very prompt in getting back to us. Thanks for a great stay...we will definitely be back.

clean & comfortable
This is the 2nd time my Husband, Daughter, Niece and myself have stayed in this unit. We like this unit because it has large rooms. Both bedrooms are large with bigger bathrooms and the kitchen is spacious. It also has a nice size laundry room. It has a beautiful view off the balcony and the chairs and table are a sturdy iron although the chairs don’t have any cushions so we sat on our towels. The beach is a short walk, right across the street. The pool is small but it’s still usable and if you’re going to be at the beach more than the pool it doesn’t matter. The beds are very comfortable and the unit is cleaned well. It is a 3/4 mile walk to the Village so if you have young children or elderly that can’t walk a distance you can still rent a golf cart or drive down. We walked back and forth. Would stay here again every time we come unless we have more than 4 people.

wonderful memory
We live in Marietta, Ga. We have friends (very dear friends) visiting for a couple of weeks from Slalt Lake City, Utah. We decided to take a few days to visit St. Simons. My husband had spent a week in St.Simons last September and loved it. The four of us had a wonderful time. The condo was perfect with two king bedrooms. The area was great being close to restaurants, the pier, lighthouse and shopping. Your rentals made it an easy way to reserve the house and we were able to extend our stay a couple of days at the last few days before our trip. Will plan to use your rental again. Great rental. We had a couple of questions which were answered quickly with no problems. Clean rooms and comfortable mattresses. St Simons is an adorable town but not a lot of things to do if you want to be entertained. If you are looking for food, shopping and the beach you are set. We enjoyed a peaceful weekend.

amazing!
This condo has so much space, the split bedroom floor plan gives you two spacious master suites! You can see the ocean from the outdoor balcony, half a block away from the beach and all within walking distance to wonderful downtown! The customer service was impeccable! Large dining room table along with a large kitchen counter gives you plenty of room to cook or play! Could not have asked for anything cleaner! Definitely a must!

This is for Emmons info: Both beds and all pillows were VERY uncomfortable. There were only 2 full sized glasses. It would be really helpful to have a channel listing for the cable. We didn't discover until the day we were departing that the door code should be used to lock the door when leaving the condo. Otherwise, we had a lovely visit and would use it again... if the mattresses were changed.

A very spacious condo with a nice unobstructed ocean view from balcony , living areas and primary bedroom. Very clean; furnishings are comfortable but dated. All is well maintained but suggest you replace the primary bedroom carpet as it really detracts from the overall look of the condo. Your agency was very helpful and prompt with check in, etc. and the keyless codes were easy. We have rented many properties in St Simons and would certainly rent this one again. The location and neighborhood was as nice and quiet as you said.

My family loved the location, the size of the unit, and the amenities. The only negatives were that the carpets were dirty from the previous renters, but management was very prompt in sending a company to clean the carpets. Also, the unit appeared somewhat dated in the type of furniture within the unit. Overall, I would say this property falls into the 'Good' (not 'Excellent') rating category.

ready to go back!
This unit has a beautiful view off the balcony and, to not be sitting directly on the beach, you can still hear the waves. The rooms in this condo are huge! There were only 3 of us but easily could have slept 6 comfortably. The decor could use some updating but that would be my only complaint! We had an issue with the combination lock on the door but that was fixed immediately upon reporting it. We will definitely be going back to SSI and will rent here if possible!

My wife and I visited SSI for the first time last week and picked this property based on the location and reviews. We could not be more satisfied with both the island and the property. As other reviewers have noted, this property is significantly larger than the standard 2 bedroom condo and would very comfortably accommodate 2 couples. The unit is well-appointed with comfortable furniture/beds, great kitchen, flat-screen TVs, and good wifi. Being within easy walking distance of restaurants, bars, parks, and the pier is a big plus. While we had no need to interact with property managers, I feel confident that they would have been responsive. Check-in/check-out instructions and directions to the condo were clear and accurate. Our favorite restaurant was the Indigo Coastal Shanty in Brunswick. It's not on the island, but only a short drive away. Low key, great food. We also liked the Half Shell (seafood) and the Red Barn (steak). All in all, we had a great visit and have already planned to return in the fall.

This was the perfect place for location to beach and walking distance to everything. Would stay here again if they put tile in the bedrooms. This is a dog friendly condo and having rugs in bedrooms is a no no. They felt disgusting and very dirty. Other than that would stay there again.

We love St. Simmons Island. It's 3 hours from our home. Emmons Realty has always offered great accommodations in convenient, safe locations. This vacation rental met all that criteria. Very close to shopping, restaurants and the beach. The view from our balcony over looking the water was very nice. The quiet neighborhood surroundings was perfect for walks or just sitting on the balconey with a cool drink. The condo was very spacious, clean and well equipped and for dog owners it was pet friendly. Plenty of areas to walk the dog. Underground covered parking is a plus. Gated / fenced grounds made us feel very safe even though the whole surrounding neighborhood felt the that way. Has pool and spa. Elevator provided easy access to our room.

long weekend on st simons
We have stayed on St. Simons multiple times and always in a different location as we hope to one day purchase on the island and want to get a feel for different spots. This was the best location we have experienced to date. Literally just steps to the beach and although it is across the street, there is a pretty good view of the water due to a tree that recently fell. The apartment was huge considering it was only 2 rooms it was probably the largest 2 room apartment I have ever seen. The space was well appointed with everything we needed. I have seen reviews that complained about the carpet being dirty but I noticed no such thing. Our stay was fantastic and I believe the rate was appropriately priced! When I had questions, I was able to reach someone on the weekend in just moments and they were very receptive and helpful. This particular location is also within close walking distance to all the restaurants and shops if you were looking for that. We would certainly stay here again. If I was forced to find one point of criticism it would be difficult and I honestly can think of none at this time.

fantastic weekend getaway!
This property was more than advertised. It was clean and more than spacious. Proximity to the beach was ideal since it was a short walk of less than 100yds to the beach. Certainly close enough for us to return quickly when we forgot a few things to bring to the beach. Everything we wanted to experience was close, much of it within walking distance. I highly recommend this property for your upcoming getaway to SSI and the management of the property is responsive with any questions you may have.

The unit was nice. We enjoyed our stay, but there are a few adjustments that could be made to unit to improve the experience. The kitchen needs some additional very basic equipment (measuring cups, plate, cups, glasses,etc.) so that you do not have to run the dishwasher multiple times. The area rugs should be removed. They are dirty. The carpet in the bedrooms should be removed. Again, it was dirty. Otherwise, we found the unit to be quite comfortable. The balcony view was nice and the unit and building was very quite.

The beach is not as far as I thought it would be from the condo and the view is absolutely gorgeous from the balcony outside the living room. Beautiful condo with plenty of room for a family of 4. We were so happy to be able to bring our dog with us. The condo has a perfect view of the ocean without being on the ocean. It is close enough to the water that you can still hear the ocean at night and fall asleep to the peaceful sounds of the ocean. It is a perfect distance from everything you would need during your stay. We would definitely stay at this location again!

fantastic condo
I stayed here with a friend during a conference at Coastal Georgia College. The condo was spotlessly clean, and we liked that both bedrooms had large beds (neither of us had to be in a twin like so many condos). The whole condo was spacious, and the kitchen was large enough for two people to cook and clean up. It's a 2 minute walk to the beach. I also found it nice that the realty company called and checked to make sure all was well. We'd love to stay here again!

The condo was as advertised. In fact the beach view was better than expected. A short walk to the Light house and a nice beach steps away. Our only issue was the VERY strong smell of cleaning chemicals when we arrived. Had to open all windows and doors to air it out. Also shower head in bath #2 needs to be replaced with better plumbing fixture. The fees associated with the rental was much higher than others.

perfect gift!
Our trip was a spring break gift for our two granddaughters' 16th birthday and it was absolutely perfect. The perfect location on SSI can be difficult to find but this one is. It is in sight of the beach and also a close walk. Sometimes you can see the beach but you have to go quite a ways to get to it. There was always beach, even at high tide and we could walk just a ways up the beach to get to the village and about the same amount to get to the coast guard beach. We were comfortable letting the girls walk on their own. There was plenty to do within walking distance so we rarely ventured farther from there. The condo was very well kept and the agents called to be sure everything was in order and staff who were working there greeted us and were very friendly. It was quite cold so we were unable to take advantage of the pool and the hot tub did not get hot enough for us to get in it. We highly recommend and would love to stay again!

This was our first year using Emmon's, we had stayed the previous ten years with Hodnett Cooper. Emmon's was quick to check in with us to see if we needed anything. In addition, they were very responsive to any emails/request. The neighbors at 760 Ocean were very welcoming and we made several new friends. We have already booked with Emmon's for next year!

The condo was much larger than expected (all rooms and closets are over-sized, and the ceilings are high). We also had a beautiful view of the ocean and pretty Oglethorpe Avenue with its moss draped live oaks. We walked to the Village and the beach. We absolutely loved our time here! The condo truly is "gigantic," more so than the pictures showed! It's extremely easy to get to the beach, and a very reasonable walk to the village. I also loved that I was able to bring my pup with me and let him hang out inside during the heat of the day, and it was super fast and easy to get back and bring him out to play on the beach in the evenings. The condo itself was meticulously maintained and just gorgeous. The building itself is a bit older and the pool is teeny, so this may not be the place for you if you're looking for a large pool area to lounge by. We, however, came for the beach! We had no complaints whatsoever, and are definitely already thinking about returning!

Stayed in this condo for a quick weekend getaway and absolutely loved it. We were so surprised at how large it is, we loved the layout and it had everything we needed. The beds were super comfortable, including the pullout sleeper sofa. Nice to have covered parking and it the location is very convenient - very short walk to the beach and just a quick drive to everything. We will definitely consider this place again!

The condo was in excellent condition.and as described. It contained everything we needed to set up housekeeping for the duration of our stay. It was close enough to the beach and other attraction so that you could walk instead of driving. We hope to go again in September and would love to rent this unit.again. The negative was that the elevator stopped working the day before we departed.

lovely weekend!
Came for a wedding and weekend stay. Four adults. Condo is spacious and there is a small ocean view. You can definitely hear it. Beach access is very nearby. Great location on island too! All this condo needs is more coffee cups!

slept by the sound of the ocean
This place is in a great location. There is an ocean view from the living and the master. We slept with the doors open and feel asleep to the sound of the waves :) The town is close by; we walked easily on the beach all the way to the pier. The beach access across from the condo is large and more private than others. Rooms were very large and the beds were comfortable. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

great family escape
This was a wonderful place for my husband, my two-year-old, and our four-year-old to stay over Christmas! The rooms were very spacious, and we loved being able to hear the waves and see the ocean from our balcony.
