great condo close to the village and beach
We had a nice vacation. Pool was so close to the unit, and we enjoyed seeing the duck family. The walk to the village was quick and easy. The master bed was very comfy. We had everything we needed for a great week at the beach.

wonderful rental
We have been coming to SSI for 13 years. We have stayed at Ocean Walk many times but through a different management company. This is our 3rd time renting from Emmons Realty.We have been very pleased with their cleaning service and thoughtfulness in leaving the AC on etc. We will definitely be using Emmons Realty again.

great stay, loved the screened in porch
My family enjoyed our stay very much. We loved the comfy beds, screened in porch, and privacy. The screened in porch faces the back of the building so you don't see many people. Ducks walk by and lizards. I loved sitting out there in the morning and evenings. Beds were comfy. Showers were great. We enjoyed swimming in the pool. It's very close to town and the beach. We felt very safe here. Plenty of parking nearby. We used the games and puzzles. It was not hard to figure out the TV. Really nice overall!

a wonderful family vacation
This property was a perfect vacation spot for us. We LOVED this beach town. It was unlike anything we’ve experienced before. It’s quiet, relaxed, you wouldn’t even know the beach is a half mile away other than the smell of the ocean. The giant mossy oak trees and the landscape of the island is breathtaking. The sunrises on east beach and the sunsets at the pier were something I’ll treasure forever. The shops at the pier and the restaurants, the candy and ice cream shops, the parks and pickleball courts - it was just the perfect spot. Ocean Walk community is beautiful and quiet. Surrounding the lake we saw ducks and turtles every day. At the pier during sunrise we saw families of dolphin - tons of them swimming right by the pier. The condo was wonderful - the decor was a bit dated but we didn’t mind - it was charming. The furniture was extremely comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. The kitchen had plenty of pans, place settings, etc. The washer and dryer was a nice touch. The balcony was perfect - during the majority of the day even when raining it stayed dry and uncovered from the son. The balcony looks west but when the sun is setting the giant mossy oaks keeps the balcony in the shade. We rented bikes from Zoom Bike Rental - they dropped them off and picked them up for the week - no hassle. The island has a Winn Dixie grocery real close which was nice. Overall - perfect vacation for me, my wife, our 11yo daughter and 17yo son.

long independence day weekend
The stay was great. The only downside was the A/C went out one night and it wasn't able to come back online until the next afternoon. It was SUPER hot and miserable. The A/C repair man said that the A/C was clogged due to lack of maintenance. Other than that setback, we will definitely try to get another home in the same area on our next trip.

Acceptable One shower does not work Housekeeping cleanliness is lacking, corners, baseboards, etc. Sink needs replaced. Lamps have single small watt bulbs in three way lamps. Lamp, with torn lampshade, in twin bedroom is so small the room was hardly illuminated at night. Veerticle blinds on sliding door is totally obsolete. Stairways and entries were poorly kept. Extremely loud lawn mowers extremely early in the mornings. We have become accustomed to VBRO and AirBnB and the standards are much higher. Body wash instead of mini-soap bars, shampoo, conditioner standard with them. Bed was fine, TVs very good, wi-fi very good, the location is terrific as to distance from village, etc.

Overall it was a clean and comfortable experience. Several issues to improve-1. the lock/unlock directions were reversed-lock to the left and unlock turn right. 2. ground fault on side of main bath didn't work. 3. Magnifying mirror bracket in the main bathroom was too loose to use safely. 4. Sink plunger (main bath)would not go up or down (stayed in down position). We removed.5. We found an obviously broken drinking glass put away in the front of the upper glass cabinet. We found 2 broken hurricane lamps put behind a bleach bottle in the work cabinet. We put all of these on the kitchen counter to show clean-up crew. To make the condo a bit more welcoming: 1. add a clock in the bedroom, a note pad with pen , placemats for the dining table, local tv and network programming was minimal. Inform guests , beforehand, what stations etc. are available.

wonderful ssi condo in great location
We loved the easy contact-less check-in and check-out process. Everything in the condo was as advertised. Very clean and neat property in a great location close to the Village/Pier. We had no issues during our stay and our messages with Emmons Realty were promptly answered. Highly recommend this R-1 unit in Ocean Walk. Huge choice of restaurants to suit any appetite.

The unit was clean, comfortable and well-stocked. Although the description said to bring our own beach towels, there were beach towels available. The kitchen is a little dated with hardly any room to store food supplies, but otherwise well-stocked with the necessaries.

From the moment we walked in, we were impressed with the cleanliness of the rental. In addition, the condo had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. It was quiet and in a great location as far as proximity within the condo complex as well as places we frequented on the island. wonderful ocean walk j-11... loved it!!
Rental experience was seamless, no issues, easy access and check out. Loved the location very walkable to the Pier Village, many shops and restaurants. We stayed for 2 weeks and ate at different spot almost every day!! The pools were close and a great relaxing environment, plenty of chairs and lots of very nice people! We certainly will return, loved the condo and the location. We rented bikes for 1 week from local rental Zoom Bike Rental and that was a wonderful experience, drop off and pick up is free with bike rental. We loved the laid-back pace of SSI

clean and comfortable
The property was in a great location for walking to the village and very nice with the tennis court in pool. The condo was very clean. My only suggestion would be to do something about the tub drains. Both tubs were filling with water while showering because the drains would not stay open. I used clips to hold one open and pulled the drain plug out of the other one so that the shower water would drain out of the tub.

Yes, it was in Jan during the ice storm! Power was out for awhile, yet it felt safe and cared for there. The unit has updated kitchen. The living room furniture, small bedroom and bathrooms could use the same! Being on the ground floor was convenient for us.

Everything was as described. The unit appeared clean upon our arrival. I was concerned about a washer/dryer being in the unit and was very pleased to see one. (The photo listing made it look like it was possibly a community laundry situation. We enjoyed our month here even though there was an odd snow & ice storm, and we were without power for 12 hours. The entry door is a bit tricky at first. The kitchen sink has a rusty edge showing that drove crazy, so I kept it covered with a dish towel. There are several easy fix cosmetic repairs that could be done. I think less is more when it comes to decorations, and they are plentiful here. Also, it would have been beneficial if there weren't some many closets filled with extra household items. i.e. lamps, paint cans, baskets, more decorations. Not a big deal, but more room for our things especially since we were staying a month. LOVE,LOVE,it being a dog friendly rental. The community is very nice and out at night walking my dog I felt very safe. Everyone I met were very nice. The management staff were great as I had to call about the toaster needing replaced and they brought one the next day. They also kept us updated about the storm. Thanks for the rental. It was our first time on the island. POSITIVE EXPERIENCE. GREAT LOCATION to just walk to the shops or park.

The condo itself is in great condition. Very clean, well appointed, equipped with comfortable beds, and high end 'everything'. What made the experience so extraordinary, however, was the outstanding service from the Emmons Realty service coordinator, Janean. A little rough around the edges but very clean and in good location. Sliding door was sticky and came off the track a couple of times. Bed and couch were just okay. No recliner or rocker. Master shower spray was not adjustable and was so powerful we couldn’t use it. I was very clean and well equipped.

Location is great, very convenient to the village area and all of the restaurants and shops. The condo is well equipped with everything you need for a long term stay. The only issue we encountered was with the wifi in the unit, the connection constantly cycled in while trying to stream tv services or using the laptop or cell phone. I reset the router several times to no avails a telecommunications expert, I can say unequivocally that there is a problem with either the wiring into the building or serving the complex. Xfinity definitely needs to send a tech to test the wiring out.

quiet comfort at st. simon
The rental was well equipt. For someone who loves to cook, almost everything needed was provided. The laudry room was conveniently located. The bedrooms had perfect bedding for warm and cool weather. Very pet friendly. The complex was quiet with plenty of outdoor space. Morning and evening excursions were great for us and our service dogs. Although we had to call the rental agency for minor issues, they responded immediately and the issues were resolved effectively and promptly. I would definitely rent again. We also found some great places to eat out which was a bonus. We visited Jekyll Island and that was great just remember it is a separate island and requires a daily toll ($10). Fishing and beaches.

Wow, our stay at Ocean Walk on St. Simons Island was amazing! The place is really close to shops and the beach, but the best part was the pond right outside. We saw ducks and even a heron! The condo was super comfy and had everything we needed to cook and hang out. The people at Emmons Realty helped us find cool places to visit. Check-in was the easiest I've ever had. We had so much fun swimming in the pool and playing tennis. We can't wait to go back! Thank you!!!

Much depends on the neighbors above, condo units are far from sound proof. One week was quiet another noisy more insulation between floors would surely help. Beds are what you would expect from a cottage rental who has seen many users and knives are completely dull. Nonetheless, tenants were engaging and proximity to pier was pleasant.

This co do had been recently completely remodeled. No expense was soared from the kitchen to the bathroom. The interior design is lovely and coastal. The beds were comfortable as was the sofa. I like the location because it’s on the back side if the unit. It had a nice screen porch that looks out on greenway. It’s quiet and private.

Ocean walk is in the perfect location on the island. Everything is a few mins away. You can walk, ride bikes, or rent a golf cart from a local shop to get around. I only used my car once the entire trip.The condo was very clean upon arrival. Master bedroom bed was so comfortable which made for a great nights rest after exploring the island all day. Lots to do in Ocean Walk as well. They have tennis, two swimming pools, basketball, table tennis, swings, and fishing in the pond. View from balcony was nice! So peaceful to relax and watch the ducks and turtles swim around.The condo is suppiled with basic supply needs for a few days worth which is helpful and appreciated. The smaller pool is directly beside the condo while the other is a short walk from the unit. This was our first visit to the island but definitely not our last. I will be booking this condo again in the future. I can't express how much we enjoyed our stay.

The rental was nicely decorated and was clean. Our only complaint is the tub in one of the bathrooms didn't drain and it would fill with water while taking a shower; we just used the hall bathroom instead. The pillow cases had something on them we believed it to be burn marks from the dryer. We loved the games they had available. We love St. Simons and will be back to the island soon!

great stay in saint simons condo
This condo on second floor has a wonderful view of the duck pond. It is tastefully furnished and clean . The kitchen is well stocked and the bed very comfortable. Loved that we could bring our dog who enjoyed sitting on the balcony. Local restaurants such as Halyards and Tramici and Del Sur were all excellent. The WEII home front museum is very interesting and worth a visit.

cozy condo, close to everything!
This condo was perfect for our family of four! We had the option to dine-in a few nights using the well stocked kitchen, or walk to the Village with all sorts of food options to choose from. We made it our mission to have a Sunset Slush every day of our trip! The public beach access was a quick drive away and we even found a beach cart the owners had left for us to use to make getting there even easier. My daughters, ages 6 and 8, loved eating their breakfast out on the screened patio while waving to several of the neighbors taking their dogs on their morning walks. They especially loved each having their own bed. They took pride and pleasure at making them each day! My husband and I found the king bed in the master to be very comfortable! We could not have asked for a better family trip or for a better condo experience. We all agree that we can’t wait to return!

the perfect unit for us
This unit faces the lake, which was just perfect because there was just the peaceful view, with the ducks strolling by and no disturbance from parking or people loading/unloading cars. Our pup loved sitting on the balcony and watching the ducks walk by downstairs. The unit was clean, everything worked and we didn’t encounter any problems.. Would stay here again for sure. Everything was a short drive away.

My wife and I enjoyed our extended stay at OW J11. This rental is well maintained and supplied. We did not have any issues at all while we were there and we found this unit to be very comfortable. The screened porch is very pleasant for morning coffee. The kitchen is well supplied for those who want to cook. The king size mattress in the master bedroom is apparently memory foam and very supportive. The bath towels are thick and plentiful. We have returned to Ocean Walk for the last four or five years now during our stays at St Simons. This is the third different condo we have rented at Ocean Walk and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a two bedroom. For anyone with disabilities, I might warn you that it is a bit of a walk from the parking area to the door. This might be an issue if you are carrying luggage, beach gear, fishing gear back and forth to the unit.

Great stay for my husband and I with our daughter and her family. Close to the smaller pool, park and village. Property was clean and had almost everything we needed for our stay. Only concern came when we had our morning breakfast and only had four dining chairs for our group of five. Managers were very helpful. Would recommend this property.

Simply perfect. This charming property was centrally located near all the island has to offer without being in the middle of it all. The condo was cozy and felt like home. It was big enough for our family, and we even got to bring along our fur baby. The amenities of the property were a nice bonus. Our kids loved the pool, the tree swing, and playing corn hole. The property management company was fantastic to work with and answered all our questions quickly and thoroughly.

First floor, 3 bed/2 bath condo was perfect for five women and all our stuff! Bedrooms were quite large with closet space. Kitchen was small but well supplied. Good location for all activities. Had issue with clogged garbage disposal; fixed immediately by management. Decor was nice and comfy. Very spacious and clean.

My family and I stayed at Ocean Walk for a week and the weather was perfect the entire time. This is our 4th stay on SSI as a family and this by far was the best experience as far as lodging. Perfect location to beach and pier village! Many things to keeps teens busy and occupied. Heated pool was awesome. The condo itself was everything we need and wanted in a vacation rental.We arrived at 4pm as stated in the rental agreement, but the cleaning crew had not finished and they departed at 5pm. We had to wait to unload all of our luggage and groceries until they had left. Other than that, we would definitely return to this rental.

We really enjoyed our condo. it was big enough our granddaughter (8 yo) could watch her shows and we could watch ours on tv. SSI was beautiful! We had some mild days to explore beaches, pier and light house. The ocean was too cold for us to do more than wade a little while collecting shells. Heated pool allowed our daughter and granddaughter to swim when we weren't exploring or eating delicious seafood at Iguanas & Sandcastle cafe. We liked playing horseshoes and playground equipment. We also did the trolley tour and learned a lot about island and its history. We came home to snow & cold temps in Indiana. Hope to come back for another visit later in the season so we can enjoy beaches and ocean more.

The ground floor unit worked perfect for us and with the 3 bedrooms gave each of us our own bed. The living room space was comfortable for hanging out, and the kitchen and dining area met our needs. Pros: Just enough room for 3 couples. Liked the first floor location and proximity to duck pond. The easy check-in procedure was perfect. Cons: need a bath mat or rug in hall bath; t.v. in main room needs to be larger; dresser in twin room needs upgrading, the drawers are hard to slide and would be a nuisance for renters staying for a longer stay.

The condo is beautiful (very clean and fun and roomy!), and the outside property was just a wonderful. We enjoyed walking to the Village and pier. We took the great grand/granddaughter to feed the ducks a few times. (She's ten months and now she knows how to say DUCK!) The swings were so nice, there was always one in the shade. And with the rain each day, the condo was so relaxing, that staying inside was a pleasure! I recommend this condo and the owners to everyone visiting SSI!!

This condo is cozy, but, it is impeccably decorated and very clean! It is definitely a home away from home, as it has everything you need. If you are a cook, it has plenty of dishes and plenty of serving ware to present a special seafood dinner! There was a beach wagon, beach towels and chairs, which saved us room in the car. The beds are super comfortable too! It is a great rental with nice, clean pools, clean grounds and the location is awesome! I’d definitely rent this condo again, but, probably for just 2 and not 2 adults and 2 kids, but, only because it was kind of small/tight. Only other negative was the yappy dog across the hall!

My whole family enjoyed their stay at this adorable condo. It was spotless, well stocked and the decor fit right in with the island. It was only a short walk to the village and just a short drive to the beach. I grew up here and really enjoyed being able to walk around the area. Fantastic trip! This was our first trip to St Simons, so we were not sure about the location. Turned out to be perfect. This place is lovely and the walk to the village only takes about 10 minutes and is a nice walk. The condo is beautifully decorated and so comfortable and very clean. Beds were great with really good pillows. The only issue we had was with the door for the second bathroom. There did not seem to be a way to secure it, it's a sliding door that has a gap when "closed". Looks great, but there is little privacy when using the second bathroom.

We are a family of 4 with 2 little children. This condo was the perfect size and location for our trip. The condo was the most well stocked of any of our previous rentals with nice quality beds and towels. Our kids loved the pond and duck, fish, and turtles to watch every day. We rented bikes for our stay and was a perfect distance to the boardwalk and beach. We also enjoyed riding through the neighborhoods in the mornings. Would highly recommend for a quiet vacation.

what a nice place
We arrived a bit confused, but one phone call to Emmons Realty solved that problem & she stayed on the line with me to ensure a successful conclusion. The place was brand spanking new with multiple TV's all connected to the cable, with netflix available too (we didn't avail ourselves of that it was too nice outside to waste time with that, but the fact that it was there was comforting). The bed was as comfortable as our own at home. We'll probably be back

nice property and great location
The condo is in a great location and the owner has clearly put a lot effort and personal attention into upgrading this unit for use. We stayed the first weekend of March. Ocean Walk has a lot of good activities for kids and it is a very convenient walk to the pier and the village. We didn't have bikes, but if we did it would have been even more convenient. The development is quiet and peaceful. Overall our stay was great. The only issue we had was upon arrival after 4 PM the cleaning crew was still there cleaning up and didn't finish until after 6 PM. But, we were okay with that given that we knew and could see the condo was well cleaned and taken care of. From the looks of things, it appeared to me the previous renter had not followed instructions which resulted in the delays. Still, no one wants to wait after driving a long distance. We would definitely rent again!

Loved our visit to your condo. We love Ocean Walk - the location, pools and management. Your unit was perfect for our family which included 2 small grandchildren. We'd love to stay there again!

st. simon's is.
St. Simon's was a great place to visit. The Ocean Walk location was convenient to most sites-especially the Village and Pier area. It was very crowded over the 4th of July-I would avoid that time. We liked the Coast Guard East beach the best, although you have to walk a ways from the parking lot. Do not miss a day trip to Jekyll Island and Driftwood Beach-incredible.

clean and comfortable condo
The condo was very clean and comfortable. We had no problems during our stay. The lockbox made arrival and departure very simple.

great property, conveniently located
We rented this property for a weekend in late April 2017 and it easily met all the needs of my family. The property was well maintained, and was as described: 3 bedrooms, 1 with a king size bed, one with a full or queen size, and another with two twin beds, along with 2 bathrooms (one with a shower and another with a tub/shower) a gathering area, dining area, and a kitchen and laundry room. There was plenty of room and it was nice to have access to a kitchen and laundry facilities when traveling with a young child. The kitchen was furnished with silverware and dishes making it more convenient if you wanted to eat at home. There was also a few beach items (boogie boards and chairs) that are there for use if you plan on going to the beach. My only small complaint would be that the water pressure in the showers was not the best, but otherwise the property was perfect. The property was also conveniently located close to a pool and tennis courts in the same condominium complex, as well as a 5-10 minute drive to several restaurants (Southern Soul BBQ was a favorite among my family), a grocery store, and a park. The property manager was very courteous and even called the day after our arrival to make sure that we were happy with out accommodations. I would highly recommend this property.

stay at saint simons
We enjoyed our stay. We forgot our beach towels and have told them that we don't mind paying for them to send them to us. So far we have not got them back. We paid a lot of money for the towels and one was my Granddaughters that we got for her. Would love to have them back.
