It’s tournament week on the Georgia coast. The RSM Classic brings PGA TOUR golf to St. Simons every fall—and lodging goes fast. Here’s the straight‑talk local guide to dates, who you’ll likely see, where to stay, and how to get to the course without stress.

Who’s playing?

The final field posts the week of the tournament. Expect a strong turnout from the local “Sea Island crew”—names you see around town all year—including Harris English, Brian Harman, Zach Johnson, J.T. Poston, and Patton Kizzire. Last year’s champion was Maverick McNealy.

Parking & shuttles (how to get to the course)

Spectator parking: McKinnon St. Simons Airport, with free shuttles to Sea Island Golf Club. Accessible shuttles run from the general parking area. Because the airport is close to the club, the ride is usually 5–10 minutes.

Plan on extra time for security. Exact shuttle times and the year’s bag policy are posted on the official spectator pages—check the latest before you go.

What to bring (and not)

  • Comfortable walking shoes (you’ll cover miles).
  • Layers + hat (cool morning / warm afternoon).

  • Bike lock if you plan to ride to the entrance (racks are typically available).
